Imani House Adult Literacy Program needs Math Tutors to work virtually, 1-to-1. We seek tutors who enjoy math and sharing that enjoyment with others. Experience preferred, but not required. As we offer individualized attention we seek patient tutors comfortable with diverse learning styles and speeds.
Some of our math students are GED students working at varying levels of competence. Familiarity with the GED test is of course helpful, but you need only be comfortable with 12th grade level math. Some students requesting math are working at lower levels acquiring or improving their skills in arithmetic; from very basic through Pre-GED.
Requirements:
Age Minimum (with Adult): 21+, Minimum Age:21+
