Purpose/Objective:
Fundavenyc seeks to accelerate and support asylum seekers and immigrants’ transition into thriving New York City residents, including low income and elderly New Yorkers in their pursuit of fair, permanent and affordable housing. We have community members that do not speak Spanish, and we are looking for crucial English-proficient volunteers to reach a population that we haven't been able to fully serve.

Time Commitment:
- This is a monthly opportunity. Volunteers must be available for AT LEAST one 3-hour shift, split between 2 applicants. Volunteers must also complete our virtual Affordable Housing training once, approximately 3 hours, prior to starting this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide online assistance to attendees.
- Support attendees in opening an NYC Housing Connect account and complete the application.
Qualifications:
- Volunteers must have completed our virtual Affordable Housing training, approximately 3 hours, prior to this opportunity.
- Able to offer professional, amicable customer service.
