Refugee Support Project

https://bio.site/ppsc

In light of the horrific war in Ukraine and other Humanitarian crises around the world, PPSC (Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center) mobilized to form the PPSC Refugee Support Project. PPSC RSP is a group of volunteers throughout the mental health and lay community who provide crisis and support services to refugees, their families, and service workers. We currently assist Ukrainian Referrals and are in the process of expanding our support to Spanish-speaking individuals. Our volunteers offer 1-2 hr/week pro bono for a short term and then often continue working with their referrals at a low fee rate until their needs are met. Other services we offer are: - PPSC RSP Organization-specific Services (counseling, asylum advocacy, etc.) - Critical Resources Pamphlet - Clinical Support Groups/Individual Clinical Support Sessions (Free for Volunteers) - Humanitarian-based clinical support and Supervision (Free for Volunteers) - In-house Trainings with CE's ($25 for Volunteers) and events ($25 for RSP Volunteers and $50 for PPSC Community and General public)
